Favourite Session to Date: ARC 301
Just been to ARC301 - Software and Services: Microsoft's vision for SOA, SaaS and Web 2.0.
I found this session to be very interesting and a really good discussion of some of the up and coming architectural considerations starting to hit the market. For me it was the first time I've heard the Software plus Services initative from Microsoft clearly explained.
For me this is something that really makes sense, for a long while everyone has been concertrating on the services. As a techie the services are something that we presently spend a fair bit of time thinking about, but as a consumer whether I use something is equally about how the software works.
Equally I liked the explaination about how important some of the newer mediums such as xbox's live application's and peer to peer connectivity from app's.
Any one else have any other favourite sessions.
