Well all, it’s time for this wave of TechTalk-ers to sign off and let some others continue this blog.

Only a couple of months ago, I posted my first ever blog post right here. If this is to be the end of my illustrious blogging career then it was short and fun. So thank you to Frank for encouraging me.

But it’s not all sad news for me! I have just come back from Microsoft Redmond and I can tell you there are lots of exciting stuff coming from the guys working hard in the trenches of the ivory towers in Seattle. There is some really exciting stuff coming out that is not too far away... some of my dreams are solved... some are not... yet. Microsoft will be my hero when they solve:

· A future where Windows Forms design and deployment is as easy as it is in Access – even my dear old Mum could do it!

· A future where Access is the tool to query all data on the web

- A time when MS CRM is so accessible that every company will have it running on their Exchange Servers!

· The day when Exchange is running on SQL Server and Outlook is running on SQL Compact (and I can query it as easily as SQL Server)

- The day Outlook is truely multi-threaded and the add-ins model solid and not COM based

- The day everyone has a profile and a PersonRank, just like everypage has a PageRank

· A future where all my software wishes and dreams come true...

See you round!
