Hi all,

Well now it’s my turn to say hello to you all. I’m Adam "the blogger" Cogan and I’m the third of the Australian RD’s to jump on board here. I’m new to the world of blogging so I’m not entirely sure what I’m going to write about in the upcoming weeks but hopefully you’ll all enjoy what I have to say none the less.

To introduce myself – I love writing in bullet points, that’s the first thing you should know. Here’s the rest:

• I live in Sydney, not far from Coogee beach
• I’m the Chief Architect at SSW – we specialize in custom .NET solutions
• I’m an accountant turned software architect – so I’m good with all the number crunching stuff!
• Every year I make a number of talks on a variety of topics at Tech Ed and all over the place including our monthly .Net Tech Breakfast training sessions at the SSW offices
• I write a lot of rules and standards to make our life easier at SSW and hopefully for you guys too.
• I want Microsoft and other vendors to do better so I list my suggestions for various software products
• I run the Sydney .NET User Group

In my spare time I like to:

• Take my beautiful daughters Eve and Ruby down to the beach for a swim
• Climb mountains
• Slowly clean up my Outlook inbox
