The next week is going to see me rebuilding all of my PC-style devices to a common Windows Vista + Office 2007. I've started the process today on my Fujitsu Tablet PC (T4210) and so far the results have been encouraging. The following things work without any problems whatsoever:

  • Installation on SATA drive (tick).
  • Aero enabled user interface (tick).
  • SD card reader functions (tick).
  • Audio works (tick).
  • Stylus works (tick).

That is a lot of success, but a few things aren't working for a Tablet perspective just yet these are:

  • Screen rotation via Tablet PC buttons is not working (cross).
  • Finger print reader doesn't seem to be working (cross).
  • Scroll button on the track pad is not working (cross).

Some other general stuff needs to be sorted out:

  • Bluetooth doesn't seem to be working (cross).

With the bluetooth I think that I will need to install some special Toshiba software for some reason. Seems to be a common problem with any device that has a Toshiba Bluetooth stack.
