I'm sitting on the "SIRIUS" waiting for it to depart to Darling Harbour where the convention centre which will be hosting the Ready Summit is. Yesterday I met up with Andrew Coates, Scott Fletcher and Deeps (the team). I decided to catch the ferry because:

  1. I like catching ferries in Sydney in the same way that I like catching trams in Melbourne.
  2. The hotel is very close to Circular Quay.
  3. I get pretty good 3G coverage all over Sydney Harbour.
  4. It is way cheaper than catching the cab, and its a nice day for a short walk.

Today is the first delivery of the content for the Ready Summit in front of "real-people". The advantage of doing a presentation multiple times is that it gets pretty smooth by the end of it, but the first delivery is always a hair greying event.

Some of us have have had some technology issues preparing for the event (and before you ask - its not Vista, Office or Exchange related). Anyway - we have just swung past Milson's Point. I'll send out another update once the day is complete with a bit of a wrap up of how it all went.
