I'm Berno (Bernard Oh) the DPE intern here in Microsoft Australia and I'm loving every moment of it. I manage the Microsoft Student Partners (MSP, formerly known as Microsoft Student Ambassadors - SA) among academic community initiatives.

The MSP/SA program is very close to my heart. I was a SA during my B.Computing (Hons) days in Monash and yes, I wrote code to graduate (82% VB code, 2% T-SQL, 3% HTML, 4% Java and Eiffel, 1%  PHP*). It was thru the SA program that I got to know Frank, the Aus Dot Net mailing list and the DPE, AU communities.

These days, my interests in IT tend to be broader instead of technology specific. I am into technologies adoptions and implementation, process improvements and fostering an vibrant Academic-Microsoft (student and faculty) relationship. I'm looking to blog more about social computing and the state of IT education in our universites.

There is no point trying to lie that I am totally immense in the Kool-Aid, otherwise why would I be here? But other times, I enjoying training for run events (next event – Sydney Running Festival Half Marathon, Sep 17), photography and overseas travels.
