Dave 'DevGarten' Lemphers posted a little while ago showing the design for a Dev'Garten TShirt they'll be giving away at TechEd this year.

As I've stated (repeatedly :) a large part of things like TechEd is the free swag. It's important to collect your trophies.

But what really irritates me is that so often the TShirts just aren't big enough for the portly attendee. I'm a fat guy, and things don't often fit. Surely the IT industry has one of the highest 'rotund:beanpole' ratios in the world?

I asked Dave, and he responded with:

Geoff, it's a demand game, leave a comment on my blog, and it will strengthen my cause to get some more shirts made matey! Get the community cranking, and we'll get more shirts, in all sizes!

So this is my call out. Anti-Under-Nourished People Unite! Go to Dave's post and leave a comment demanding that he provide TShirts big enough for the larger attendee. Order him to make it so. Threaten to strike. Threaten riots in the streets.

I've endeavoured to be politically correct here. You'll notice that not once have I called anyone fat. Except myself. And I am. But that's ok - I forgive me for calling myself names.

But I want a free TShirt that fits :)
