Geoff has been hard at it pushing out some really interesting posts. In a previous post he asks the question, "So what are you going to do to remember it all? " regarding retaining the information presented at TechEd. A good question given the amount of content there is going to be available.

I guess my answer is that I am not. I'll be recording what I can using my laptop, PDA, pen & paper, and my not so trusty old brain. Of the first three, I will defintely pick up some valuable tips, techniques and further investigation points once I dissect the information afterwards. Some of it, I wont even look at until well after TechEd, perhaps when some issue jogs my memory and I remember that this issue was talked about at a TechEd presentatin I attended. FWIW, I use OneNote to record presentation content for later review. Its great at organising the information, and allows me to simply throw information in there as I hear it in any way, and I can worry about organising it further later on.

One thing is for sure though. What I miss picking up myself, I will undoubtedly be able to get via the many blogs that write up all the information. I can't attend all the sessions, but I can virtually obtain some of that information via blogs.

On that note, one service I am particularly enjoying is Squeet. (http://www.squeet.com ). Squeet aggregates my selected blogs and sends me regular emails at my time of choosing so I can store them in my favourite organisation tool, Outlook. Once there, I can read at my leisure, but more importantly, I can use MSN Desktop search to look through these emails for any specific items. I find it really handy.

I'd be interestd to hear how others go about managing their information, particularly at events like TechEd.
