Well, I'm certainly no shiny twin or chrome dome like Glav - quite the opposite in fact (well, except for a little bit on the back up the top which seems to be slowly increasing in size - but it's not shiny yet, and since I can't see it, it's not really there, right?) but I'm in here too on the lead up to TechEd.

So the secret has been revealed, and we're going to see how the TechTalkBlog can handle a public threesome. Hopefully we don't step on each other's toes too much - although I'm probably the biggest of the three, so I can probably win in a wrestling match if it comes to that - especially if it's sumo.

Some of you may not know me, so lets get the boring bits out of the road so we can get onto the juicy stuff in the coming posts.

I'm a Canberra based geek. I spend my days working on code or designing apps and systems that I then get to write. At work I'm the team leader, which also means that once I've had the fun playing with the design and implementing the interesting bits, I can palm off the boring parts to the rest of the team, while I go and mvoe on the the next interesting bit :)

I'm also an MVP for Visual Basic, although that's primarily for VB.net - it's been so long since I've done any VB6 work that it's a bit of a memory strain now. I try to keep up with those other languages as well, but VB will always be my true friend.

I also spend too much time with my family - the pretend one I mean (I hope they don't read this - they can be quite demanding at times).

I'm still planning what I'm actually going to be blogging about while I'm here. Obviously while TechEd is on, I'll be blogging some highlights and any interesting things that happen while I'm there. In the lead up, we'll see what turns up in my Inbox. You never know what you may find there - and if that's no good, we'll check my spam folder :)
