Yes, its me, the captain of Chrome, aka one part of the shiny twins, Paul Glavich. Geoff Appleby has wondered who the guest blogger would be, and now the secret is out.

For those who don't know me, I work as a senior consultant for readify, I am currently an ASP.NET MVP, and also a member of ASPInsiders. I have spoken at events such as TechEd, CodeCamp and Sydney Deep .Net users group and also produce an ASP.NET Podcast with good friend Wally McClure. Finally, I am co-author on a soon to be released book titled "Beginning AJAX with ASP.NET" which is due for release in about a month or two (but you can pre-order it now.... Smile [:)] )

So I'll be taking over from where Darren Neimke left things, after doing a fantastic job as guest blogger. Darren spoke a lot about Wndows Vista, of which he has a great deal of experience (well about as much as you can for a Beta product). My current technology focus has been Microsoft's Atlas and I'll be talking about that a lot. Atlas is Microsoft's entry into the Web 2.0/AJAX space. Its more than "just AJAX" though and I'll be doing my best over the coming period to show you why.

I'll also be giving some insight into the presentation that myself and Tatham Oddie will be doing at TechEd this year, which ofcourse revolves around Atlas. Its going to feature some innovative local content to appeal to the Aussie crowd.

So stay tuned....
