The dust has settled on the Security Summit just as the next set of major events for the Australian developer community rolls in.  So I want you to stop thinking of tunnelling in through ports and running DOS attacks for a moment and to relax and think of lovely Aero goodness.  YES, that's right, it's Vista time folks!

Because of this Frank has asked that I take the baton from Rocky Heckman to be the host of the group blog here at TechTalkBlogs for the next little while.  Well done Rock!

So what are the Vista events that I'm referring to?  There's a few, so here's the list:

The Vista Touchdown event is targeted at ISV's and runs in early June.  Vista Touchdown is a 3-day event that walks through Vista and WinFX using a HOL approach.  I will be assisting with the presentation of this event in Melbourne while Dr. Neil Roodyn will assist in Sydney and Chris Auld (the mad kiwi) will be assisting in Auckland.

Following on the heels of the Vista Touchdown event we have the Innovation 2006 tour in Canberra, Sydney, and Melbourne.

The purpose of the Innovation tour is so that people such as Chuck Sterling, John Hodgson, and myself can stand on a stage and hurl upcoming technologies at the audience until they are numb :-)  Seriously though, this should be a lot of fun and combines both Vista and Office 12 content.  Heck, Dave Lemphers even went as far as to call the Innovation tour the "Eurovision for Developers" - and no Dave, I won't be wearing leather on stage!

Finally, Coatsie is organising some Vista content for the local User Groups so keep an eye out on his blog or your inbox for more information about that.

OK, can't stop around here any longer... gotta go and get my Workflow demo's ready.  Adios!
