Well I'm back from Wagga, and in Sydney. At least I have semi-decent Internet connectivity again.

This past weekend was Code Camp Oz 2006.  It was a really great weekend. I finally got to put some faces to names and met some really great people.  Greg and Mitch put on a great show out at Charles Sturt University.  The campus staff treated us like royalty and created a great atmosphere for geeking out.

In addition to the normal Code Camp activities, some of the Australian MVPs got together and had their own sessions running.  So the place was awash with MVPs. Hoepfully the attendees got to bend the ear of a few people and get thier questions answered.

I gave two presentations over the weekend.  I gave a presetnation on Realistic SOHO Security to the MVP crowd.  They seemed to enjoy it and from some discussions I had and heard, they got a lot out of it.  I also did a presentation to the main crowd on Hacking Applications: Assembly Hijacking.  I have to admit, I really like doing those kinds of presentations. People get the most intersting looks on their faces when they see stuff they've coded themselves get violated and their systems get taken over. :-)

I ended up attending Chris Hewitt's session on Win FS which introduced a lot of promise for the technology,  Dan Green's session on Windows Workflow Foundation, Chuck and Joseph's WPF presentation, and Darren's Vista presentation....and that was just the first day!

On Day two I got to see Paul Glavich do an introduction to Atlas, and Nick Randolph give us a look at Mobility programming.  After that I did my session on Hacking applications.  I spent eh rest of the afternoon answering questions and chatting with people.

All in all, it was a very informative and useful weekend.  It's hard to beat it for a free seminar. I'd like to thank Microsoft  and Charles Sturt University for supporting a great show!  I'm already looking forward to next year!
